I actually wrote this on 8th November 2015 but didn't have
anywhere to post it at the time.
When I began researching this topic I aimed to post a
comprehensive history of the Laughing Witch/Thunderf00t saga that occurred in
October/November of 2015. My intention was to document it with complete
neutrality using sources from both sides of the argument, however this proved
to be impossible due to:
- Laughing Witch deleting her Youtube and Twitter profiles before I could look at her videos & tweets,
- the media posted by the SJW side not providing any evidence (video clips or screencaps or links to text sources) and instead relying on baseless assertions and ad hominem attacks.
As a result of this virtually all of the evidence is from
one side, however it does contain a healthy smattering of video clips actually
made by the other (SJW) side so should provide a reasonably complete view of
what has happened. On top of that a Google search for "Laughingwitch"
provided a thread
on a forum where people had began talking about and documenting the events
as they unfolded, as well as a liberal blog
site. To be honest I'm only including the blog site in this for the sake of
completeness. It's actually totally biased, provides no evidence to back up
it's assertions, and actively silences anybody who argues with their narrative.
As far as I can gather this seems to be pretty standard fare for the people on
that particular side of the argument, but nonetheless I've included it so
anybody wishing to look can see the kinds of people involved on both sides.
For clarity, I'm going to be writing my own opinions in italics. Here's also another couple of posts covering the subject.

TL:DR
LaughingWitch organised a campaign to write letters filled
with lies in order to get a youtuber she disagreed with fired from his job.
This backfired when it became public knowledge and, as she had shown her own
real name and Thunderf00t had shown her company's name, people found her company
and began writing reviews telling everyone what she had done. Herself and her
husband went to the media and claimed harassment and doxxing and said they
might have to start letting employees go as a direct result of the bad reviews
negatively impacting their workload, and started a $25,000 fund anything
campaign. It then turned out that they had a court ruling against them for just
under $25,000 and had over $75,000 of other debts, and were in the process of
filing for bankruptcy before this even started.

Laughing witch and a group of others send a
letter/email(text reproduced below) to the employers of Thunderf00t, a Youtuber
who disagrees with them on the subject of feminism, as well as to the police
and the media where he works.

I strongly urge
you to check into the behaviors and statement of Mr. Phillip Mason also known
as Thunderf00t on YouTube and online. I’ve recently been made aware that Mr.
Mason has been using his position in your institute to promote hatred of
different groups and to justify genocide. He has openly stated on his YouTube
channel and in a debate a participated in his sympathy for the Nazi genocide.
His position with your institution leads me to believe your institution may
also hold such sympathies.

campaign against millions of people and he clearly hopes to fan the flames of
hatred and perhaps even cause violence.
I believe he has
broken the law, i.e. Law Against Support and Dissemination of Movements
Oppressing Human Rights and Freedoms 2001. He is in violation of this act on
numerous levels. His attacks on feminism, a human rights group, his attack on
Muslims an entire religion. His revisionist history and rationalizations for
the holocaust.
Mr. Mason is
literally running a hate army of 329,000 followers and if he disagrees with
your opinions YOU WILL BE ATTACKED. You will be attacked by neo Nazi’s who are
completely committed to White Male Supremacy. It is time for you and your
organization to put the puzzle pieces together.
He hates
Muslims – Nazi ideology
He hates
women and mostly Feminism – Nazi Ideology
His followers
are mostly white male Nazi Apologists/Revisionists/Sympathizers who he commands

you start an inquiry and watch his videos. I believe if you investigate this
matter you will find that I am correct. I also wanted to mention his past with
FreeThoughtBogs. Just 3 years ago he was involved in his debacle and it should
show you the kind of man you are dealing with as far as integrity. I sincerely
hope that you and your organization will take this seriously. We are all still
worried that Ms. Sarkessian will be violently assaulted or even killed by one
of his skinhead fanboys.

Did you notice that there is not one single shred of
evidence provided with the letter? Even the linked article does not show
Thunderf00t being pro-Nazi.
The "harassment" of Anita Sarkeesian must be
referring to Thunderf00t's videos highlighting flaws in Ms Sarkeesian's own
videos in which she reviews video games and accuses game developers of
misogyny. These flaws include but are not limited to: her not actually having
played the games she is talking about, or saying things about them that are
demonstrably untrue. I'm going to talk about her more another time as frankly I
could go on for pages correcting her misinformation, and this is probably definitely going
to be too long as it is.
The other accusations of racism against Islam (which is
absurd without even taking into account that Islam is a religion and not a
race), being a revisionist historian, a Nazi sympathiser, and an open supporter
of Hitler are all equally as baseless.
It's also worth pointing out that Thunderf00t works in
the Czech republic and holocaust denial is a crime there, which means her lies
had the potential to not only get him fired but also cause him a lot of legal problems.

- Laughing Witch says she doesn't care if it was her letter or not and raises her middle finger at the camera,
- Thunderf00t points out that online anonymity has a limited shelf life and shows the clip where Laughing Witch points out her own name attached to the email again
- HannibaltheVictor13 says that Thunderf00t "caused a great deal of stress for somebody whom I'm very fond of" and that he would "fuck you over for that one of these days if it's the last thing I ever do"
- Laughing Witch says that "these people can't do anything to me"
- Thunderf00t points out that a Google search of her name shows her company, and that all people would have to do to harm her would be to tell the truth instead of making up lies like she did

campaign in which she asks for $25,000. Remember that $25,000 figure, it
will pop up again later.

- "it's evident that the people on Baphomet are working as hard as they can to ruin this small business on Phil Mason's behalf." (again, provides no evidence to support this)
- mentions the "gross images, and Burns shows the hundreds of fraudulent Yelp reviews" (yet doesn't mention that most of the reviews just talk about the libellous letter writing campaign by LaughingWitch, or that the "gross images" consist of a single screencap taken from one of LaughingWitch's own videos showing her raising her middle finger at the camera, or that LaughingWitch herself had posted a fraudulent 5 star review of her own company)
- Refer's to the libellous letter writing campaign instigated by LaughingWitch as " legal acts of speech"
- posts more garbage than I care to reproduce here portraying LaughingWitch as being the innocent victim before urging people to support the fundanything campaign.
It's also worth noting that if you read the comments
section of this particular post you will find that the author states that she does
not have a copy of the letter, even though you can see it in the video she
accuses Thunderf00t of doxxing LW with. Utterly disingenuous. One user also
makes veiled threats about people being banned for uprating trolls (people
asking questions and making valid criticisms of the blog posts and their lack
of evidence) as opposed to actually responding to their points. This user is
then actually thanked by the blogs author for defending the comments section.
This is how the far left deals with being asked for evidence: by silencing the
dissenters.
I'm not going to reproduce any of what was written in the
statement from LaughingWitch's husband as it's already on the link above, and
because I'm too busy playing the worlds smallest violin for him and his wife.
You might think that sounds a little callous when it comes to the livelihoods
of ~20 employees being allegedly wrecked by the actions of one person, but if
you carry on reading you'll see that most of the statement is proved to be
bullshit anyway.

- Shows clips of a biased WUSA9 news interview with LW's husband who refers to Thunderf00t as being "evil" and says he(Thunderf00t) spends most of his time making misogynist videos, and says that people have put fake pictures on his(LW's husbands) yelp page (a screenshot of his wife raising her middle finger at the camera, taken from her own video), and blaming Thunderf00t for the reviews and deeming it "cyber terrorism",
- Shows clips of her husband saying Thunderf00t doesn't care about the damage being done to his employees, interspersed with clips of LW saying she doesn't care about what happened to someone else(I'm not actually familiar with the backstory regarding this other person that LaughingWitch doesn't care about),
- Shows a screencap of AgentofDoubts video regarding her $25,000 fund anything campaign, which shows a judgement in favour of Wells Fargo bank in the Maryland District Court against LW and her husband from August/October 2015 for $24,539.37(at this point to a cynical person it might look like the $25,000 fundraising campaign might actually be to pay off LW and her husbands own personal debts),
- Shows that just after AgentofDoubts video the fundanything campaign was updated to say that the $25,000 is irrelevant as they're over $100,000 in debt and are filing for bankruptcy(and at this point it becomes apparent that their sob story to the WUSA9 is a total fabrication. The Yelp reviews didn't affect their employees at all as the company was already 100 grand in the hole and filing for bankruptcy anyway),
- Shows more
clips of the WUSA9 news report stating that Thunderf00t didn't respond to their
request for comment, which according to Thunderf00t was sent in the form of a single tweet
less than 24hours before the news report,
- Shows a clip from HannibaltheVictor13's friend where she says the allegations of Hannibal being a sex offender are not false,
- Shows a clip from Kevin Logan where he blames Thunderf00t for chasing LW from social media,
- Thunderf00t states that Laughing Witch deleted her accounts because she's a coward who would not stand up to what she has done.

All of 11 days after promising she wouldn't be back on
YouTube, Laughing Witch has posted another video(Several actually, but as I'm writing this her videos are marked as private or have been deleted for violating YouTubes terms of service). I wasn't actually going to
watch it as it's almost 35 minutes long, but I thought I really should make the
effort. It's full of her various delusions, including that she's in some kind
of danger, and that she's a totally innocent victim who in no way did anything
wrong ever, and that she's championing the cause for everyone else. Some of the claims she makes in this video:
- "There was no way he was going to let me go. He's turned me over to Baphomet" (She supplies no evidence to support this whatsoever)
- "I didn't dox myself by putting my name out there, he went to Baphoment and got the dox" (Lie and lie, unless of course she has some proof she's going to show us all. Spoiler alert: she doesn't)
- "I haven't gotten any death threats yet but the implication is that's what's gonna come next. That these people are prepared to actually murder me" (Notice how she's taken a running leap from not having any death threats to people being actually prepared to murder her? Again, no proof of any of this just more delusions and playing the victim)
- "I don't think I said anything that awful" (Obviously trying to take away someone's opinion, employment and freedom because they correctly called out someone else's bullshit is fine in her eyes)
- "The situation he's put me in is I can't leave. Because he'll just keep going after me" (No evidence to back it up whatsoever, just her making excuses for going back on her word after she said she'd stop making YouTube videos)
- "I was a feminist on YouTube and they want to make an example out of me so they can terrify other feminists" (I guess the example being that you can't get away with using terror tactics such as doxxing people or writing to their employers or the police to bully them into silence. Surely a lesson that nobody should need to be explicitly taught, but apparently that's not the case)
- "This so upset my husband that I had to take my channel down to prove to him how much I loved him, that he was more important to me than anything" (Clearly not anything, because here she is with a new channel with the same name doing the same shit as before)
She makes reference to King Crocoduck trying to start a
fundraiser for her but insisting that she denounces feminism. Here is King
Crocoducks response that he posted in the comments section of her video.
- "I can't retreat. They won't allow me to leave" (How can she tell? She's not even tried)
- "I have to now go get a handgun because my husband believes that these people, that a certain number of these people, who are willing to kill me" (Have you noticed how it's always her husband that wanted her to put her channel back up or her husband that was worried? It's never her, it's always someone else. In addition, batshit crazy delusional, feminazi is now acquiring a firearm)
- "He
had an opportunity to comment, he declined, now he's just calling him a shoddy
reporter" (Thunderf00t did not decline. The reporter sent a single
tweet on Twitter to him at 8.11PM on 29
Oct 2015 which was I believe less than a day before the news report aired.
A tweet that by all accounts Thunderf00t did not even see until days after the
report had aired. The reporter did not try to contact him via email or
telephone or even via youtube, but just by a single tweet. Almost as if the
reporter didn't want to hear the other side to the story)
- "We've really kind of reached the place where the business is gonna be ok and like I said I never wanted to do the fundraiser. " (Again, someone else, never LW)
- "What I did was a legitimate protest" (No, what she did was libel. She disagreed with something someone said and because she couldn't fault their argument she conspired to get them fired and arrested. If attempting to take away someone's livelihood is "legitimate protest" then the people leaving reviews for her business are doing nothing wrong either and she has no harassment to complain about)
- "He's playing the victim, where to the outside world he looks like a bond villain" (I would say that is the biggest hypocrite I have ever known of, except I don't think there was ever a bond villain as incompetent as she is)
- "I have to hook up with this house rep in, I think it's Massachusetts or it could be Maine, who's spearheading the campaign to change the way Youtube and Google allow this kinda cyber harassment and doxxing and stalking and death threats and all this bullshit" (Except that she's the one doxxing herself, and she's the one writing to people's employers and the police with false accusations, and she's the one stalking people, and she herself admitted in this very video that she has not received any death threats. If anybody is going to be negatively affected by the changes she hopes to make, it's going to be her)
- "It's no surprise that he tries to make me look like a crazy old lady" (He tries to make her look like a crazy old lady? I think she's been doing a stirling job of that herself)
- "If you're a woman you're crazy you're a loony" (This is typical of feminists. If someone criticises them personally they strawman it and pretend like the criticism wasn't of them but of all women)
- "He's proven everything I've put in that letter, with his actions right now" (Another lie)
- "He's got an army of 200 people, die hards, who call him the king, or general, or whatever in the hell" (Again, no evidence to back this up either)
- "He does wield an army, they actually see themselves as some kind of an army with him as the head. That's the kind of mentality I'm talking about" (more baseless accusations, unless of course this so-called witch is in fact psychic and possesses the ability to read minds)
- "There is this moral disconnect where no matter how awful they behave it's ok because you disagree with something I did" (What an absolutely delusional lying hypocrite. That is the exact description of how she operates and yet here she is trying to say that the other side was doing that)
- "There's some people who I want nothing to do with....because I see them as unstable....It's ok to think I was wrong.... but to flip out like that just tells me that you're an unstable person" (In years to come dictionaries around the world will have a picture of Laughing Witch next to the word Hypocrite)
- "They wanna hack into my email, they wanna get my customer lists so they can get my customers. Oh that's another thing. They wanna harass everybody in my life because they're not happy. " (Once again, no evidence at all just more baseless ramblings)
- "This is there attempt to silence all feminists online" (Again trying to misdirect people into thinking a group is under attack when in fact it's just one person shirring shit and fanning the flames of a fire that she herself started)
- "I'm not going to lie to other feminists to get them to give me money. Oh, but I'm going to open up a Patreon" (So she'll be making more videos, and if this one is anything to go by they'll be full of lies, for her audience of feminists to watch in exchange for money? But she won't lie to feminists to get them to give her money though, oh no)
- "It is not criticism to say to people `I'm going to destroy your life and wipe you off the face of the Earth. ` That's what he was wheeling at Anita Sarkeesian. That is why we did the letter writing campaign" (The lies just never end with this woman. Another total misrepresentation of the situation. If you want to see the videos Thunderf00t made about Anita Sarkeesian you can view them on his YouTube channel. They're valid criticism of Anita Sarkeesian's double standards and misrepresentation, and as far as I can remember there's not a single threat to wipe her off the face of the Earth in any of them)

Synopsis.
Laughing Witch, Bewildered Ape, and at least 10 others
conspired to start a letter/email campaign of malicious lies against
Thunderf00t with the intention of getting him fired from his job or imprisoned
because he pointed out and corrected some of the misinformation being
spread by Anita Sarkeesian.
Laughing Witch sent this email from her own personal email
address under her real name, she then uploaded a video of the email on her
computer screen to Youtube.
She mocked Thunderf00t for losing his job, even though he
hadn't. She said that the email Thunderf00t read out was not hers, even though
you could read it in her own video. She then admitted it was her email, and
boasted in a video that nobody could do anything to her for it.
Thunderf00t points out that people can find her business
quite easily as she posted her own name online.
Dozens of 1 star reviews are posted on Yelp and Google+ for
the bathroom renovation company run by Laughing Witch's husband where she is
vice president. Someone also points out that Laughing Witch had posted her own
5 star review of the company several months prior. Also worth noting is that
the company had only a single Yelp review before this which would tend to
indicate that they didn't get much business via that medium.
Laughing Witch and her husband contact WUSA9 to do a news
story in which they are portrayed as the victims being harassed by Thunderf00t
and his online army as WUSA9 does not bother to do any research at all. They
report that Thunderf00t did not respond to their request for a comment, but do
not mention that this request was sent in the form of a single tweet less than
a day before airing their biased story.
Laughing Witch deletes her Youtube channel and her twitter
account, ostensibly to hide from the negative feedback her actions have brought
about.

`apologising` to Thunderf00t basically saying she didn't mean for him to lose
his job she only wanted him to stop making videos that disagreed with her point
of view, and links to her Fundanything campaign to `defend against the online
attacks and keep the lights on`.
AgentofDoubt discovers that Laughing Witch and her husband
have a court ruling against them, filed by Wells Fargo bank, for the sum of
$24,539.37.
The Fundanything campaign is updated to say that they are
"preparing to file for Bankruptcy reorganization that was happening long
before this cyber attack and our debts are far in excess of the $25
thousand" and that the amount they would need to keep from filing for
bankruptcy would be "in excess of $100 thousand", although it was
already too late to do that.
To date, LaughingWitch has posted at least 9 more videos in
spite of her saying that she would not be back on YouTube.
